How it works

Open without unlocking

In an emergency a bystander or paramedic can open your Emergency Card straight away — no PIN, no fingerprint, no login.

Works offline

The card loads from your phone, so it’s there even with no signal — and it opens in seconds.

Your records stay private

The Emergency Card is the only thing visible without unlocking. Your full records and documents remain locked behind your login.

You choose what to show

Every field is entered by you, by hand. Nothing is pulled in automatically — you decide exactly what an emergency card shows.

Cards for the people you care for

You’re often the one holding a whole family’s health in your head. MediBrief lets you keep an Emergency Card for each person you care for — an ageing parent, a child, a dependent — so the right information is there whoever the emergency is for.

Emergency Card FAQ

What is an emergency medical card?

An emergency medical card holds the critical health information someone would need to help you in a crisis — blood group, allergies, chronic conditions, current medications, and emergency contacts. MediBrief’s Emergency Health Card lives on your phone and can be shown without unlocking it.

Can someone see my records if they open my Emergency Card?

No. The Emergency Card is the only thing viewable without unlocking your phone. Your medical records and documents stay locked behind your login — opening the card does not unlock anything else.

Does the Emergency Card fill in automatically from my records?

No. Every field is entered by you, by hand. MediBrief does not auto-fill the Emergency Card from ABHA or fetched records, so you stay in full control of what it shows.

Can I make Emergency Cards for my family?

Yes. You can add Emergency Cards for the family members you care for — a parent, a child, a dependent — each with their own blood group, allergies, medications and emergency contacts.

Does the Emergency Card work without internet?

Yes. It loads from your phone and works fully offline, so it’s available even with no signal.
